HILFE

Was ist los?

Neue Halle, neuer Platz

HELP

What is going on?

The most common stumbling blocks and the fastest way out. Brand new? Go to the first steps.

The course floats, sits in the ground or drifts while walking

Almost always the floor height is off. Open the hand menu and tap Floor under Position, then pull the course down to the real floor. Outdoors, the outdoor tracking routine helps as well. Background in the FAQ.

The course moves on its own, Lock does not work

Check in the hand menu whether Walk is active. You find it under Tools. If that drawer is closed, a dot on the Tools button shows that a mode is running there. In walk mode, Lock is off. Switch Walk off, then tap Lock.

I cannot see my hands

Usually the controllers are still active. Put both down, not in a pocket, and wait a few seconds. All causes on the Quest basics page.

New venue, new field

The Quest asks for a new boundary and scans the room. That is normal and takes about a minute: Quest basics. Outdoors: look around briefly and walk a small loop first, then align. Why, see outdoor tracking.

No courses in the list

Link your Smarter Agility account, then RunLine syncs your designs. Without Smarter Agility: import a plan on the web.

The dog does not start

The dog needs a loaded course with a run order. If the headset shows “No dog path”, this course has no order the dog can run. If Dog under Tools is grey, Adapt is active: finish Adapt first, then start the dog. Everything about the dog is in the dog mode guide.

Watch the tutorial again

Tap the lifebuoy in the hand menu. It sits on the far right of the menu footer. There you restart the tutorial and find the gesture cheat sheet.

First steps

Install, pair, first start: all three steps on one page.

Guides

Course markers: measure in once, then find the course again with a scan. Tilt: the floor slider on sloped fields. Dog mode: a virtual dog runs your course.

Report a bug

Tap Report bug under More in the hand menu. That sends me a diagnostic report from the headset. Or email mail@getrunline.app.
